Kerrang magazine, is a rock magazine, you can tell that it is a rock magazine by the people on the front page, as you can see they look like rock bands, and the article gives it away. Also the way in which they are dressed looks like rock the two pictures on the left hand side, Billy Martin and Frank Iero looks like heavy rock bands. You can tell this by the way they are dressed and the hair style and also the makeup that they are wearing; black clothing, black hair ect. The colours on the magazine makes it stand out and appeals to any gender, because of the colours. The fonts are quiet bold and stands out from the pictures.

The main picture of the Fall Out Boys are being  represented because they are so well known to rock fans, they don't need to wear the type of clothes as what they do on stage. But the smaller poster are more to do with rock and you can tell this by what they are wearing e.g. all black, black make up, Also as you can see on the small right hand picture with the band Blink 182 they have a selection of tattoos and are also wearing dark clothing, I think they are wearing this type of clothes because they want to made out that they are fierce and not afraid of anything.

The target audience is targeted at rock fans and for both genders but more for a boy. Because of the colours you have more neutral colours like purple and yellow, around the magazine.  Also they have all boys have dark colour scheme to them so it is more boy related because there is no women on the magazine.
